Not being able to afford things due to lack of funds towards the end of summer is often the case for students like myself. Lusting after shoes and having insufficient funds in the bank is also the case for many people.
A little collage of shoes I really enjoy. Note that I wanted laced shoes for my wardrobe.
TOP LEFT. JIL SANDER NAVY metallic shoes, UNDERGROUND wulfrun creepers, CHURCH's brogues, JIL SANDER NAVY orange leather platforms, NIKE air max 1'sssss, NEW BALANCE 420s, PRADA creepers.
This is how I ended up with these JIL SANDER NAVY beauties.
Went to one of these
but with a coin counter
along with a lucky bowl full of coins collected by my dad over the years
and VOILA, 3 digit total... paying for discounted shoes at House of Fraser Oxford St sale which is still going on + VERY HAPPY FEET.
I've also been selling books & dvds on
www.webuybooks.co.uk and wwww.musicmagpie.co.uk
The past weekend has been really fun; many a happy hour.
If around London I would definitely recommend going to CAMDEN beach at the ROUNDHOUSE. Most amazing thing happened: I LOST MY PHONE and then had a wonderful human being ring the boyfriend off my phone resulting in my blackberry being returned to me. THANK YOU whoever you may be. ALSO incredible 12£ pitchers of PIMMS at PROUD CAMDEN.
So, how much is the total of the coins your dad had collected? It must’ve been quite a big amount because you were able to buy the shoes that you really love. I’m also planning to take my coins that I collected for almost a year now on a coin counting machine. I’m wondering how much everything would sum up to. :) So excited! ->Harriett Faulks
