December 3 is Jean-Luc Godard's birthday. I'm a little late, but here is my blogpost
hommage à Jean Luc Godard, a pioneer of the Nouvelle Vague which redefined cinema as we know it today. His many films are vibrant with aesthetically pleasing cool shots as displayed below from Pierrot le Fou, Breathless, Vivre Sa Vie, Le Mépris, Alphaville and Bande à Part. Also below are two music videos 1. Anna Karina dancing in Vivre Sa Vie, dancing to CREEP- Days (Soul Clap remix) and 2. the legendary dance in Bande à Part; although it's mashed up? pretty song anyway by Nouvelle Vague- Dance with me.
